Adams & Martin Group is assisting a Clayton, Missouri, law firm in their search for a Real Estate Associate with at least 3 years of experience.
This role is designed for an attorney currently practicing at a larger regional or national firm who is ready for more ownership, meaningful client relationships, and a clear path toward long-term growth within a high-performing transactional group.
· Commercial acquisitions and dispositions
· Commercial leasing
· Financing and secured lending transactions
· Development and construction projects
· Title and survey review
· Easements, covenants, and access agreements
· Entity formation and ownership structures for real estate investments
· Due diligence for commercial transactions
· Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, leases, loan documents, easements, and related real estate documents
· Manage commercial real estate transactions from contract through closing
· Conduct and analyze title, survey, zoning, and due diligence reviews
· Work directly with clients, lenders, title companies, brokers, and opposing counsel
· Advise clients on practical business and legal issues throughout a transaction
· Collaborate with attorneys across all practice groups when transactions require multidisciplinary support
· Continue building technical expertise while taking on increasing responsibility and client contact
· 3+ years of commercial real estate experience
· Experience handling acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, financing, and related commercial transactions
· Strong drafting, analytical, and negotiation skills
· Excellent attention to detail and project management skills
· Ability to manage multiple matters while meeting deadlines
· Strong communication and client service skills
· Self-starter with the initiative to take ownership of matters and work independently while collaborating effectively with the team
· Missouri licensure or eligibility for admission

· Salary range: $120,000 - $180,000, depending on experience
· Bonus opportunity based on billable hours and overall performance
· Billable hour expectation: 1,800 hours annually
